Calloway Taxi is an a cappella group in Northwest Vermont performing a variety of music ranging from big band standards and show music to contemporary jazz, rock and pop music.

In the eight years of our existence, we’ve performed at corporate affairs, fund-raisers, churches, farmers’ markets, wine-tastings, anniversary & birthday parties, and retirement homes, among other events. Some specific venue are the Shelburne Wine and Coffee Shop, the Deborah Rawson Memorial Library Music Series, Christmas Jazz on Church Street and at the University Mall, the Burlington Discover Jazz Festival, Richmond's Celtic New Year, the Jericho-Underhill Harvest Market, and the Jericho Covenant Community Church's Brown Cow Summer Music Series. We love to perform!

We are always look for music that appeals to our audience and satisfies our own sense of musicianship, and are actively arranging new music, as well.

Position opening:
We have recently decided to add a fifth voice (a soprano) to our current group of four.  We are seeking an enthusiastic singer with some experience in jazz, but traditional Choral singing experience is fine.
Must be able to read music and have a good blending voice.
